As a background, I am an Electrical Engineering walmart pre black friday sale professional, and a long time user of Amazon devices. I have bought many kindles, Echo, fire phone, and most of time I love everything that Amazon has offered me. This 50 dollar tablet didn’t fall short of my expectations either. There are three bundles that Amazon is selling here, and I will try to show you which one is the best deal, and what the differences are.
First, you have the Entertainment Bundle:
The 50 dollar Fire Tablet ( valued at 50 bucks)
An amazing 5th generation case (valued at 20 bucks)
A sandisk 32 GB micro SD card (valued at 20 bucks)
A 10 dollar amazon gift card (valued at 10 bucks)
The combined value is 100 dollars, although, I would like to state that if you factor in the occasional sales, you could lower that to 90 dollars, the cost of this bundle. But there’s nothing here that is totally overvalued, and at the base price, it’s actually a pretty good deal. Essentially, you’re getting a free 10 dollar gift card.
Second, you have the Travel Bundle:
The 50 dollar Fire Tablet ( valued at 50 bucks)
An amazing 5th generation case (valued at 20 bucks)
A Belkin Car Charger, which comes included hiholidays with an Amazon Micro USB cable (valued at 25 bucks)
A screen protector (pack of two, valued at 13 bucks)
The combined value is 108 bucks, HOWEVER, the 25 bucks for the car charger and cable is the first overpriced item. I would value that at 15 bucks, because you can get a better car charger on amazon for a fifth the price, but you probably can’t get a better micro USB cable than the one that amazon produces. Next, the screen protector is also overpriced, I would pay no more than 7-8 bucks for that. After buying a couple of sets separately, I didn’t really like it (read the complete review below), and so, I’m not too hyped about that. So according to my valuations, that puts the total value at around 95 bucks, so the 90 dollar price on this bundle is fine as well.
Third, you have the Essentials Bundle:

An amazing 5th generation case (valued at 20 bucks)
A sandisk 32 GB micro SD card (valued at 20 bucks)
A screen protector (pack of two, valued at 13 bucks)
So the Essentials bundle is basically like the Entertainment bundle, where the Entertainment bundle has a 10 dollar gift card, the Essentials bundle has a screen protector valued at 13 bucks. Now as I said before, I value the screen protector for less. If you’re choosing between the Essentials bundle and Entertainment bundle, you should go with the Entertainment bundle, because you have the liberty to do whatever you want with your 10 dollar amazon gift card, perhaps, invest it in a better screen protector, than the one which is included in the bundles here.
So in the end, it’s between the Entertainment bundle and the Travel bundle, and that really ends up being your decision. What do you want more? A 32 GB micro SD card and a 10 dollar gift card or a car charger, a micro USB cord, and a pack of 2 screen protectors.
I have over the course of time individually bought each of these items, so I will now give you my feedback.
-----------The Fire Tablet-------------
I am not going to go in extensive detail on the tablet, because the fact that you’re here already means you
re interested in it and know what it’s all about. It’s a really great tablet for the price. This isn’t my all day use tablet, but, it’s a great tool for children. You can use Child accounts, and really configure it to whatever is best for your kid. Honestly, I haven’t used the Fire Tablet much, I just gave it away as a gift, because that’s what it’s really useful as! Here are the problems:
Low Resolution (it’s not blurry or anything, but there is no comparison with that to my iPad, for example)
Horrible Speakers (use headphones)
Low Res Cameras (this isn’t the tablet you need if you’re xsmn looking to replace your DSLR)

This case is just alright. It’s certainly not worth 20 bucks, but it’s not as awful as many people are saying. There is a magnetic closure, which is great, apart from I don’t know why they would remove the awesome feature of auto lock and unlock when closing the case. You can do that with all magnetic cases for the kindles, as well as the other fire tablets, just not this! Nothing great, needs some serious improvement.
----------Sandisk 32GB Micro SD card ---------
Probably the best thing they have included in the bundles are this SD card. It works absolutely amazingly, and it’s really easy to install. The speeds are great: Read speed: 46MB/s Write speed: 15MB/s
--------NuPro Screen Protector-----------
This screen protector is also alright. I bought a total of two sets, the first was horrible, full of bubbles, and it caused I guess a bad initial reaction. I was sent a replacement, and that worked fine. So, that puts me in an iffy place. It’s not bad, but it’s not good either, not really worth 13 bucks. However, after doing some research, I realized that they’re aren’t really other great options for this particular fire tablet, so you’re kind of stuck with this.

It turns out that this single bundle isn’t the greatest price that you can get these items for. EACH of these items has a deal going on it right now, when you buy a bundle of 6:
Fire Tablet : Buy 5, get 1 FREE ( save 50 bucks)
NuPro Fire Tablet Case: Buy 4, get 2 FREE (save 40 bucks)
Sandisk 32GB Mirco SD Card: Buy 5, get 1 FREE (save 20 bucks)
Nupro Screen Protector: Buy 5, get 1 FREE (save 12.99)
It’s probably going to be a better idea if you find five other people interested in the tablets, or even a couple others, you could each take two or so, and give one to a friends or family.
If you 6 of each with the current deals on them, your total price is going to be 494.95+tax. Let’s just say 500 bucks, for 6 tablets, cases, screen protectors (pack of two), and SD cards. This is probably a better deal than getting them each separately.
